Gabrielle Rich Aouad, a 27-year-old actress and Hodgkin’s lymphoma survivor, developed acute myelogenous leukemia (AML) in 1996. AML eventually took Gabrielle’s life but not her spirit. In honor of Gabrielle, the Foundation proudly funds leading junior investigators whose work represents cutting-edge scientific research in both conventional and integrative disciplines which focus on prevention, treatment and quality of life issues of leukemia, lymphoma and other related cancers.
